Nylon mesh

1) Poor resistance to direct sunlight or strong light

2) Poor acid resistance, affected by temperature and humidity, poor dimensional stability

3) High elongation, large tensile deformation, affecting the accuracy of overprinting

Compared with polyester and silkworm mesh, nylon mesh has a large elongation, so as not to cause printing failure, the tension of the stretcher should be increased, and the shrinkage force will also become larger. Therefore, it is required to use a strong frame and Stretching machine; because of its low heat resistance, if the net is fixed on the frame by hot-melting method, it is difficult from the operational point of view; it is not resistant to strong acid, sulphuric acid, cresol, formic acid, etc.; Slightly affected, take care to avoid light when storing.

2. Polyester mesh:

The polyester mesh has good dimensional stability and is suitable for high-precision printing. Therefore, it requires a larger tension of the mesh than the nylon mesh, and requires a stronger frame, a stretcher and a stronger bonding method; Due to the hydrophobicity, it is difficult to bond with the plate. It is necessary to pay attention to the washing and degreasing before the plate making; although the hygroscopicity is low, it is not resistant to the boiling water for a long time; the ink is slightly worse than the nylon; erosion. It combines with photographic emulsion, ink repellency and abrasion resistance are not as good as nylon. Pre-screening requires pre-screening (ie, the screen needs to be roughened and defatted and ground).

3. Stainless steel wire mesh:

The disadvantage is that it is susceptible to external bending and damage, and the wire is slack due to pressure during the printing process, which affects the printing durability, is expensive, and has high cost.
