Polyester mesh and nylon mesh
Nylon mesh
Nylon mesh is a nylon monofilament fabric that is woven to provide heat resistance and dimensional stability. The plain weave can reach 380 mesh, and the twill weave is greater than 330 mesh. The nylon mesh has the characteristics that the surface of the nylon mesh is smooth and the ink permeability is good. The ink with large viscosity and large particle size can be used, so that a fine printed pattern can be obtained; a fine mesh meshed with a fine wire mesh is used for the pole. Fine line drawing pattern and dot printing; flexible, suitable softness, good applicability to substrates, suitable for printing on bumps and curved surfaces; tensile strength, knot fastness, elasticity and wear resistance, Long service life; acid and chemical resistance. The problem that should be paid attention to when using nylon mesh is that nylon mesh has higher elongation than polyester and silk mesh, so as not to cause printing failure, it is necessary to increase the tension of the stretcher. At this time, the contraction force will also become larger. Therefore, it is required to use a strong frame and a stretcher; and because of its low heat resistance, if the mesh is fixed to the frame by a hot melt method, it is very operational. Difficult; not resistant to strong acid, formic acid and other erosion: UV has a slight effect on it, avoiding light when storing.
2. Polyester mesh
The polyester mesh has the characteristics of small tensile strength and strong elasticity. The single-wire mesh is suitable for high-precision printing of printed circuits, thick film semiconductors, scale plates, counting plates, etc.; tensile strength, structural strength, resilience and Good printing resistance: It has sufficient chemical resistance, especially strong acid resistance, strong organic solvent resistance, recyclable like nylon, low hygroscopicity, almost no humidity: heat resistance compared with nylon To be high; affected by ultraviolet light is smaller than nylon. The problem to be noted when using is that the polyester mesh has good dimensional stability and is suitable for high-precision printing. Therefore, it requires a larger tension of the mesh than the nylon mesh, and requires a stronger frame, a stretcher and a stronger one. Adhesive method; polyester is difficult to bond with the plate due to hydrophobicity. It should be washed and degreased before plate making; although it has low hygroscopicity, it is not resistant to boiling water for a long time; the ink is slightly worse than nylon; Resistant to strong alkali corrosion.
