In addition, it is better to pre-stress the frame and make the screen frame flat. If not, this unevenness will affect the screen stretching effect and even break the mesh. Therefore, a pneumatic or mechanical stretching machine and an adjustable self-stretching frame can be used.
2. Store the mesh carefully. Stainless steel wire mesh is relatively delicate and cannot bear the impact of external forces, let alone wrinkled. If wrinkled, it cannot be restored. At the same time, the performance of the mesh will also be affected. Therefore, be careful when stretching, handling and storing the mesh. Put it on the shelf in a roll shape or store it in cylindrical packaging.
3. Pay attention to the exposure time. When using the direct method or the direct-indirect method to make the screen printing plate, the exposure time of the stainless steel printing mesh is longer because of its poor light transmittance. Generally speaking, the exposure time is 2 to 3 times that of the white polyester mesh, and 1 to 2 times that of the yellow polyester mesh. You can use a metal halide light source when do the exposure, such as a gallium iodide lamp.
4. Pay attention to tension. The tension of the stainless steel wire mesh is limited. If the tension is too large and exceeds the yield point, the mesh will lose its elasticity and cause plastic deformation; if it fails to reach the stretching range, the tension will be too small, so the correct stretching of the mesh should be just right .
