There are two main methods of stretch mesh: manual stretch mesh and mechanical stretch mesh. The manual stretch is to fix the mesh on the wooden frame by manually using nails, wooden strips, glue and other materials. Mechanical stretch nets use mechanical forces to make the screen taut, and use a desiccant to securely tie them together with the mesh frame. Mechanical stretch mesh has the characteristics of uniform tension and short stretch time. Easy to grasp the required tension. Suitable for plate making with high precision requirements.
Polyester mesh stretch first select the appropriate mesh frame according to the printing size, and clean the bonded side of the mesh frame and the screen.If it is the first time to use the mesh frame, you need to rub it gently with fine sandpaper to make the mesh frame The surface is rough and fine, so it is easy to improve the adhesion between the screen frame and the screen. If the screen frame is used, it must be rubbed clean with sandpaper to remove the remaining glue and other substances. Before the cleaned screen frame is stretched, pre-coat the adhesive on the surface in contact with the screen and dry it. When stretching the mesh, manually or mechanically stretch the mesh. After the polyester mesh is tightened, make the polyester mesh adhere to the mesh frame, and then apply the adhesive on the part where the mesh is in contact with the mesh frame, then blow dry and pay attention to the adhesion. The adhesive should not be applied too thickly or too thinly. When drying, you can use a rubber sheet to wipe the connection part and apply a certain pressure while making the screen and the screen frame more firmly bonded. After the adhesive is dry, loosen the external tension, cut off the screen around the screen frame, and then apply single-sided adhesive tape to the area where the screen is bonded to the screen frame.This can protect the wire. The function of the screen and the screen frame can also prevent the solvent or water from dissolving the adhesive during printing to ensure the effective use of the screen printing plate. Finally, the screen is rinsed with water or a cleaning agent, and after the screen is dried, it can be used for photosensitive coating (plate-making).
