When making polyester screen printing mesh fabric, the basic conditions for selecting a light source are the following:
1) The light source used must have a certain intensity. For any type of original, it should be able to meet the needs of short-term exposure.
2) It is required that the intensity of the light source used must be stable during the exposure process.
3) The irradiation intensity of the light source on the original must be the same. That is, the middle and surrounding positions of the original must be under the same light intensity.
4) The light source used should be exposed within a short period of time and can achieve the exposure effect.
5) The selected light source equipment should be easy to operate and easy to maintain.
Sometimes a second exposure is needed to further improve the water resistance, friction resistance, solvent resistance, and increase of silk.
The strength and firmness of the screen printing plate improve the printing resistance.
The double exposure method is usually used to harden the polyester screen printing mesh fabric plate (in addition to the double exposure method, drugs are also used to harden the screen printing plate). The double exposure time is usually determined according to the actual situation of the screen, including many factors such as the selected screen and the thickness of the coating film. Generally, the double exposure time is about 1-3 times of the single exposure time.
The polyester screen printing mesh fabric plate is hardened and suitable for mass printing and single-use screen printing plates. Under what circumstances can screen printing plates not be screen hardened? First, screen printing plate hardening is not required when printing in small batches, and secondly, after the screen printing plate is ready to be stripped, and silk is reused In the case of a screen printing plate, the secondary exposure hardening treatment cannot be performed, otherwise it will cause difficulty in removing the film.
