So polyester mesh pretreatment is an important process for making screen printing plates.
Two methods are usually used for the pretreatment of the polyester mesh. That is physical treatment and chemical treatment.
Physical treatment method: The purpose of this method is to polarize the polyester mesh surface to facilitate the combination of the polyester mesh and the photoresist.
In this method, pumice and silicone carbide are ground into powder, and the surface of the wire mesh is mechanically treated. Or use silicone carbide powder to treat the polyester mesh, the powder particles are below 20 microns. After treatment, the polyester mesh is washed and dried with water and then ready for plate making.
Chemical treatment method: Usually, phenol, cresol and phosphatase-type etchants are used before the plate making to treat the surface of the synthetic fiber polyester mesh to make the polyester mesh surface rough and achieve the purpose of tightly binding with the photosensitive adhesive. However, phenol, methyl Phenol and phosphoric acid-based etchants can easily damage the polyester mesh, so full attention should be paid to chemical treatment.
In addition to polarizing the polyester mesh surface, the mesh can also be degreased and washed with caustic alkali, cleaning agents, etc. The degreasing and cleaning method can effectively remove oil and dust on the mesh surface, making the mesh and photosensitive adhesive Bonded firmly.
After the solvent is washed, it should be rinsed with water. After drying, it can be used for plate making.
So there are many reasons that affect the printing effect. We need to analyze what causes this problem according to the actual situation, and then find a real solution.
In addition, the mesh frame, drying polyester mesh printing plate and printing should be properly kept. If the preservation is not good, bruise the mesh, can not continue to use, resulting in scrap.
We have two types of storage: horizontal and vertical. The horizontal type is to place mesh printing plates of the same specification in a layer of the plate rack, which can be placed on top of each other. The mesh printing plate is erected in a vertical slot on the plate frame in an upright manner. It is better to store the mesh printing plate vertically to prevent the mesh printing plate from sagging. Finally, it should be mentioned that no matter which form is used to store the printing plate, the dust protection of the polyester mesh plate cannot be ignored.
