The non-contact printing frequency of the mesh at the time of printing makes the registration of the printing press better. Presses with tight meshes require less printing pressure than presses with loose mesh. This sounds a bit confusing, because screens that are not fully tensioned need to be lifted to a higher height to make the print better. In reality, however, the press needs to provide higher roller pressure during the wire lift process, which greatly increases the chances of printing problems such as folding, staining, and stencil cracking. Moderately tensioned screens have a longer service life than screens that are not sufficiently tensioned.

A moderately tensioned screen is easier to get wrapped and recycled to improve the quality of the template exposure.

The hand-operated tensioning screen can only reach a tension of 1 or 2 Newtons/cm, and the tension on the screen is unevenly distributed. Compared to those with a tension level of 40 Newtons, this type of hand-held tensioning screen is safe, but they do not achieve good printing results. This is like driving a car. No one wants to drive a car that is not full of air on the road. Of course, the smaller size of the retractable stencil is relatively cheaper, and users can choose according to their actual operation.
