Screen printing meshs are prone to problems during use, the patterns are not clear, obvious screen marks, and poor ink drying. How to solve it?
1, the appearance pattern is not clear.
Reason: improper selection of ink or quality problem of the ink itself; ink rushes too fast, making printed patterns or lines unclear, resulting in pattern incompleteness or broken lines; ink viscosity is too high, and pattern incompleteness during printing Or the line is disconnected; the phenomenon of plugging occurs during printing, which affects the normal ink passing of ink; the pressure of the blade is insufficient or uneven during printing, causing uneven ink passing; the surface of the substrate is uneven.
Solution: replace the appropriate ink; use a slower drying solvent to mix the ink; thin the ink or add a thixotropic agent to reduce the viscosity; properly select a slow drying solvent to dilute the ink and pay attention to the ink passing performance of the printing screen; add Large scraper strength, while paying attention to the uniformity of the scraping force; treat the surface of the substrate (such as printing rough substrate can be printed with varnish or other materials before printing).
2, poor ink drying
Cause: Improper selection of solvent will corrode the substrate (especially easy to produce when printing soft PVC or coated nylon cloth); the solvent is too slow to dry or the drying time is insufficient.
Solution: choose a solvent suitable for the substrate; choose a faster-drying solvent or extend the drying time.
3, obvious moire appears
Cause: The ink is too fast to dry; the viscosity of the ink is too high and the fluidity is not enough; the mesh used is too thick.
Solution: use slower-drying solvent to mix ink; thin ink or add thixotropic agent to reduce viscosity and improve ink flow performance; use higher mesh yarn
