Many printing manufacturers are not very scientific in the operation of the collapsed screen. We need to stretch the screen accurately according to the stretch screen procedure. The tension loss of the standard screen is 15 * 20%, and the tension loss of the PET1000 screen is 10-12.5%.
Generally, the screen printing of the overprint requires at least 24 hours after the screen is pulled, and then the printing is performed, otherwise the current situation such as inaccurate overprint or line distortion will occur. The screen can be stretched to the desired tension value within 1-3 minutes, but it must wait more than 15 minutes before the screen is fixed to the screen frame, and then increase the tension to the final desired tension value. Repeating this several times will reduce future tension losses.
*** If staying for 5 minutes after sticking the net, the tension loss will be more than 28%.
*** If you stick the net for 15 minutes after Zhang Haonet, the tension loss will be 15% -20%.
*** If staying for 30 minutes after sticking the net, the net will lose 10% of the tension.
After the screen is stretched, the printing screen must be fixed to the screen frame, and the tension it receives is determined by the screen's resistance to stretching (that is, it can withstand the maximum tension). Screen tension is an important factor in ensuring accurate overprinting and determining the proper screen pitch.
Problems with tension instability:
*** Positioning registration is uncontrollable. (For inaccuracy, lines or charts are stretched or shrunk)
*** The ink layer on the printed matter is textured, and the thickness of the ink layer is inconsistent.
*** Increase the mechanical wear of the squeegee on the screen and shorten the screen life
The above is the knowledge of professional screen printing screens. Hope it helps.
